- Retired teacher and adjunct professor of speech, composition, U.S. Literature, drama, and debate on HS, community college and university levels. (Counting his own education, has spent over 60 years in the classroom.) Served as signalman, U.S. Navy Amphibious Forces in WWII. Married for 61 years, father of two, grandfather to four, and great grandfather to eight. National gold medalist in back-to-back mini-golf tournaments, senior division. A surrogate grandpa to dozens since 1990.
